Summer Camps
in Edmonton, Northeast River Valley Park
We currently offer 1-week and 2-week options for our summer day camp program that operates at Northeast River Valley Park on the north-east side of Edmonton.
1-Week Program: Rainbow Paddle (ages 8-14)

1-week summer day camps filled with fun and adventure where kids explore the lake with qualified instructors

Kids learn about four main aspects of recreational paddling sports: safety, technique, sports culture, and appreciation of the environment.
2-Week Program: Intro to Sprint Paddling (ages 8-14)

2-week summer day camps where kids develop skills and confidence in smaller and faster flat water canoes and kayaks.

Kids paddle daily, building relationships with each other and with the aquatic environment.

Participants are introduced to sprint paddling, dragon boat and many fun off-water games and activities.

Paddlers have opportunities to participate in regattas to demonstrate their skills through community-oriented competitions!

Summer day camps run weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
Rainbow Paddle Day Camps (1 week):

You can register up to 3 children at a time for one camp. -
Watch for an email from us. If you do not receive it within a minute or so, check your junk folder.

Click the link and complete the form for all children. Sign the waiver or upload your signature. IMPORTANT: You must complete this step before any children can attend a camp.

Summer Day Camps located at Northeast River Valley Park, close to Sherwood Park (10 mins), or 30 mins from Downtown Edmonton.
We keep low coach-to-athlete ratios to ensure all participants enjoy an optimal summer day camp experience. All canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFDs are supplied for use during summer day camp hours. Campers are required to wear a life jacket at all times while on the water. Campers must be 8 years old during the summer camp session (an exception can be made only for siblings if one of them is 8 and the other is older). No paddling experience is required. Participants must have a minimum swimming ability.
