Pool Paddling :

U11/U13/U15 (ages 9-14) Paddlers and Masters 25+

Pool Paddling provide a superb resource for introducing people to Paddlesport and provide opportunities for paddlers to develop their skills and experience in a comfortable, safe, and easily managed environment, unaffected by seasonal weather conditions. Paddlesport by its very nature is diverse.The swimming pool environment is ideally suited to enabling enthusiastes of all ages and persuasions to benefit from easy access to water and making the most of their leisure time, particularly throughout the winter months.

Core exercises are an important part of a well-rounded fitness program. Aside from occasional situps and pushups, however, core exercises are very important for canoe kayak sport. Still, it pays to get your core muscles — the muscles around your trunk and pelvis — in better shape.

Swimming is an excellent way to improve cardiorespiratory fitness levels and build upper body strength/endurance. This Tuesday only swimming program is geared to the paddlers who are joining the Bantam Group and it is also open to Masters paddlers. The focus will be on improving fitness and stroke technique

XC Skiing
